This equipment is used for high-rate formation of pouch-type lithium battery cells under heated and pressurized conditions. Tests have shown that cells using materials such as NCM (ternary), LFP (lithium iron phosphate), and LMO (lithium manganese oxide) can undergo high-rate formation at elevated temperatures. The fundamental principle is that the conductivity of the electrolyte significantly improves at higher temperatures. The system integrates heating and temperature control, pressure application and regulation, as well as charge/discharge and data communication functions. It adopts energy regeneration technology, offering high energy-saving efficiency. The system generates minimal heat, which greatly reduces heat emissions, power consumption, and overall operational costs.
