MR-XJB-5L is used for mixing dispersion of various common battery powder and liquid to achieve uniform battery slurry, especially for the high viscosity technological process. The viscosity interval of applicable operating conditions is ≤1200000cP

Working Principle

The dispersing and stirring blades perform planetary motion, combining both revolution and self-rotation. The speed can be adjusted via a frequency converter, enabling the material to undergo complex movements. This results in intense dispersion and compression, ensuring thorough material mixing and uniform dispersion. Additionally, vacuum extraction is employed to remove air bubbles and agglomerates from the slurry.

Features

To address the high solid content and viscosity of power battery slurry, an enhanced power mixer with higher speed and greater torque was developed based on the original planetary power mixer. During the design process, key factors such as stirrer speed, mixing power, dispersion linear speed, suspension level, liquid flow patterns, and the distribution of turbulence intensity within the agitator barrel were thoroughly considered.

The mixer achieves a maximum high-speed dispersion linear velocity of 17 m/s, and its reinforced twist-frame design can handle any high-viscosity battery slurry. The innovative stirring mechanism allows the twist frame to revolve clockwise while rotating counterclockwise, ensuring thorough mixing without dead zones or the “climbing” phenomenon.

In terms of sealing, the system employs two sets of mechanical seals, along with soft and static seals, which theoretically improve sealing performance by 30% and ensure vacuum integrity. A Pt100 temperature sensor is in direct contact with the material, providing highly accurate and rapid measurements with an error margin of only ±1°C.

This machine is composed of a base, a beam, columns, a sealing cover, a material cylinder, a transmission system, and an electronic control system.
